John Fitzsimmons, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy. He teaches gross anatomy for both Medical Colleges and runs the anatomy course for the Nurse Anesthesia program in the College of Nursing. Dr. Geske is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy at MSU. She teaches several courses at the undergrad and graduate levels, and at both medical colleges. She serves as the co-course director for the pre-health professionals (ANTR 350) course and is the course director for both the lab course (ANTR 355) and prosection course (ANTR 485). She also teaches gross anatomy at MSUCOM and for the Advance Baccalaureate Learning Experience (ABLE) Program at the College of Human Medicine.

Maureen Schaefer, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy. She primarily focuses on the teaching of Gross Anatomy but also participates in Neuroanatomy and Histology courses. Her current interest involves the incorporation of movement into anatomy instruction. Her passion for martial arts, dance and physical well-being has led her to create a series of work-out videos designed to get students up and moving while reviewing anatomical content.

Sarah Tilden is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in human anatomy at Oakland University, she attended Penn State College of Medicine where she obtained a PhD in Anatomy. Dr. Tilden teaches Gross Anatomy and Neuroanatomy in the pre-clerkship curriculum at MSUCOM.

Sutton Williams, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy. His primary roles at MSU are teaching neuroanatomy and gross anatomy courses in the College of Human Medicine at the Grand Rapids campus. He is a clinical anatomist and educational researcher whose research focuses on pedagogical approaches utilized for teaching human anatomy and underlying psychological factors which impact learning.
