Anatomy Lab Course Enrollment Request

Application does not guarantee enrollment.

Spring and Summer applications are available starting March 25 and are due by October 1.**
Fall applications are available starting October 15 and are due by March 1.**

**If there is still availability in the course after the application due date, the application will remain open and will be accepted/enrolled on a rolling basis.

Enrollment emails will be sent by the MSU Division of Human Anatomy (hum-antr(at)msu.edu) according to the schedule below.

Fall: early March through the end of April
Spring and Summer: early October through the end of November

Enrollment typically takes 1-2 months to complete. You may not receive an enrollment email until after your enrollment appointment has begun.

You can apply to multiple courses. Please review the course descriptions and apply using the link below.

ANTR 354L: Human Gross Anatomy Model Laboratory:

  • 1-credit lab experience using anatomical models that follows ANTR 350. No dissection or anatomical donors (cadavers) are involved.
  • Enrollment is limited to 30 students per section. 
  • Students must have either earned a 2.5 in ANTR 350 (or equivalent) or plan to take ANTR 350 concurrently.
  • Offered Fall and Spring in East Lansing.

ANTR 355L: Human Gross Anatomy Laboratory:

  • 2-credit lab experience using prepared anatomical donor (cadaver) material; whole-body study that follows ANTR 350. No dissection is involved.
  • Enrollment is limited to 30 students per semester.
  • Students must have either earned a 2.5 in ANTR 350 (or equivalent) or plan to take ANTR 350 concurrently.
  • Offered Fall and Spring in East Lansing.

ANTR 485: Directed Study in Human Prosection:

  • 3-credit lab experience; prosection (dissection) of selected regions and isolated structures of preserved human anatomical donors (cadavers). 
  • Enrollment is limited to 10 students per semester.
  • Students must have earned a 3.0 in ANTR 350 (or equivalent).
  • Offered Fall, Summer, and Spring in East Lansing or Grand Rapids.
